Who we are

Dart Racing & Engineering was born in May 2022 from the desire of Giuliano Sartoni and Giovanni Luc to create an Engineering of design services in the motorcycle sector, with a particular focus on racing, putting at the service of manufacturers and teams the know-how and experience gained over countless years of racing at the highest levels. Giuliano Sartoni began racing in 1986 in the Italian Sport Production 600 championship on a Suzuki Gamma 500. After having achieved victories in the Italian and European Championships 125Gp and 250Gp class, he moved to the Superbike World Championship, where he raced for two seasons with Stefano Caracchi's NCR team, 1 season with Team Pacific and another 2 seasons with the Giesse Racing team. In 2001 he founded his own team Giesse Racing Team with which he took part in the Italian Superbike Championship and in some wild cards in the Superbike World Championship, racing riders of the caliber of Doriano Romboni, Robertino Pietri and becoming a reference team for numerous companies that entrusted him with the development of material that would then be used in the World Championship (above all the development for White Power of the suspensions then successfully used by Team Ten Kate). In recent years he has decided to put his experience at the service of young riders, helping some of the best young Italian riders to grow. Giovanni Luc made his debut in the Alpe Adria 125sp championship in 2008 with a family-run team, then moving to the Italian Cup in 2010 where he competed with good results against riders who later established themselves on the international scene (Michael Ruben Rinaldi above all). In 2016 and 2017 he moved to the Supersport 600 of the Bridgestone Trophy under the banner of the De Cecco Racing Team thanks to which he finished 4 races on the podium in the category. Always passionate about technology, in the two-year period 2018-2020 he worked at Vins Motors as a Vehicle Designer and Test Driver, thus contributing to the improvement of an extremely ambitious project. He subsequently moved to the automotive Motorsport sector, where he held the role of Designer and Track Technician for a company supplying components such as brake calipers, discs, axle shafts, gearboxes for high-level manufacturers (Pagani above all), official GT3 teams (Lamborghini, Audi, Bentley) and Tourism (Hyundai, Volkswagen). In 2021 he returned to work in the Motorcycle sector, taking on the role of Project Leader for a historic Italian brand in the relaunch phase, overseeing the design and setup of a range of 125cc and 250cc motorcycles in supersport and naked versions.
